Dior Illustrated: René Gruau and the Line of Beauty. I went to Somerset House over Christmas to see this amazing exhibition. The relationship between Gruau and Dior was something I had never looked into and as such, this was a great education. His work is so simple, yet no one has managed to recreate it with the same style and flair as the original master. Here are a couple of my favourites:

Even the gift shop was amazing, I was oh so tempted by this eyeshadow palette:
But in the end, I settled for a print of the Miss Dior man with flowers (top image).
